Anyone facing a difficult decision, uncertainty, recurring problem, or situation that needs clearer thinking.

Yes. CLEAR can help you separate facts from assumptions and think through your own decisions more clearly.

Yes, as long as they are willing to reflect and the conversation is not used to push them toward your preferred answer.

Yes. It can help uncover assumptions, expectations, conflicting priorities, and the real issue behind a disagreement.

Yes, but not to win an argument. CLEAR works best when the goal is understanding, not proving who is right.

Not automatically. The other person should be willing to participate and think honestly about the situation.

No. CLEAR helps you examine your thinking so you can reach your own conclusion.

No. Instead of giving you someone else’s answer, CLEAR helps you examine the problem through structured questions.

Not on itself. It can be used during coaching to get more clarity with your client, but CLEAR itself is a structured thinking and questioning method.

No. CLEAR is the method, developed by Ivo Wellekens. Technology can help deliver the experience through a large language model that respects the CLEAR protocol, but the value is in the thinking process and is more effective when executed by a human that masters the CLEAR Method.

Yes. It can help employees think through problems instead of always being given the answer.

Yes. Teams can use CLEAR to examine assumptions, decisions, conflicts, and complex problems together, although an external trained person is always more effective. It is difficult to conduct CLEAR when the people executing the Method are stakeholders in the outcome.

Yes, if the goal is to understand the customer’s real problem, it can work. It will not directly work to manipulate them into buying.

CLEAR may help reveal alternatives you have not yet considered.

No. CLEAR improves the quality of the thinking behind a decision, but no method can guarantee the outcome.

GET CLEAR means experiencing the method on a real problem. USE CLEAR means learning the method so you can apply it on yourself or others. The most difficult is to apply it on yourself. In the latter, we advice to use our large language model on our website to CLEAR yourself, or get a trained person to help you get clarity.

If you have a real problem now, start with the CLEAR Experience. If you want to learn the method, start with CLEAR Foundations.
